UM BWMC's hospital remains open. Some of our outpatient care practices will open on a delay. While sidewalks, parking lots and roads have been treated on campus, patients, visitors and team members are urged to use caution and to be aware of potential icy conditions.

The University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center's hospital is FULLY OPEN – including its Emergency Department and Labor and Delivery unit – with operations continuing per normal and unaffected by the storm. We remain open and ready to care for our community.

Outpatient Practices with DELAYED Opening

Due to the inclement weather, the following outpatient and primary care practice will open for in-person care on a DELAY on Wednesday, February 12 only. Please proceed with caution and be aware of potentially icy conditions.

9 a.m. Opening

10 a.m. Opening

  • Primary Care and Pediatrics (available for telehealth appointments between 8 – 10 a.m.)

    • UM Baltimore Washington Medical Group Primary Care - Millersville
    • UM Baltimore Washington Medical Group Primary Care - Pasadena

Due to the inclement weather, the following outpatient and primary care practices will operate VIRTUALLY/TELEMEDICINE only on Wednesday, February 12, and will connect with scheduled patients via telemedicine:

Outpatient Care Practices That Will Be Closed

Due to the inclement weather, the following outpatient care practice will be CLOSED on Wednesday, February 12:

  • General Surgery
  • Infectious Disease
  • Vascular Center
  • Wound Center

The practices are calling affected individuals to reschedule appointments.
