Lung Health
The Lung Health Program at UM Capital Region Health helps people breathe easier.
Our program is a partnership between local pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons and interventional pulmonologists from University of Maryland School of Medicine, who support UM Capital Region Health, and registered respiratory therapists at UM Capital who help patients breathe easier during and after their treatment.
The multidisciplinary team works together to provide Prince George's County residents with quality, compassionate lung health care.
The team also works with area oncologists and radiologists to diagnose and treat the most complex lung diseases.
Most services, including advanced diagnostics, are offered here in Prince George's County, so you don't have to travel to get top-notch care.
Our specialists can help determine if your breathing problem is a result of seasonal allergies, a common condition like asthma, or a more advanced condition such as COPD or lung cancer.
Even the most serious lung conditions can be treated if they are caught early.
