She continued her training on the west coast and completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency and a PGY2 critical care residency at the University of Washington Medicine.
After her training, Dr. Wong moved to Maryland to join our hospital as the Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in 2015 and she is now the Clinical Pharmacy Manager. She also has a strong interest in infectious diseases and serves as the pharmacy leader for the antimicrobial stewardship program. With her passion for teaching and background in education, Dr. Wong worked closely with pharmacy leadership to start a PGY1 pharmacy residency program in 2018. The program has received full accreditation from the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. She is also very involved in the Graduate Medical Education program where she co-chairs the resident wellness committee.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Wong loves spending time with her 2 daughters and husband. They like to try different dessert recipes and explore local parks together. She also enjoys practicing yoga and watching a good Netflix show.
