University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center provides Southern Maryland with exceptional rehabilitation services to return you or your family member to the highest level of activity possible.

All rehabilitation services work as a team with your doctor, nurse or other medical professional involved in your care.

Telehealth Services

Currently offered only for outpatient rehabilitation services at the Medical Pavilion location.

Outpatient Services

Outpatient rehabilitation services are offered at two locations in La Plata.

• University of Maryland Charles Regional Rehabilitation – Medical Pavilion
• University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center – Hospital

Inpatient Services

Inpatient rehabilitation services, as directed by your doctor during your hospital stay, may include:

• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Speech Therapy
