The UM Charles Regional Medical Center received Platinum Recognition from the Workplace Partnership for Life (WPFL). This award was received for their efforts to increase the number of potential organ, eye, and tissue donors across the state. The WPFL is a national initiative, supported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), to spread awareness and education about the importance of organ and tissue donation.
