Evalyne Bryant-Ward

UM Charles Regional's Evalyne Bryant-Ward has been promoted to vice president of Ambulatory Services.

The University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, a member organization of the University of Maryland Medical System, announces the promotion of Evalyne Bryant-Ward, CAPPM, MBA, DBA, to Vice President of Ambulatory Services.

Bryant-Ward joined UM Charles Regional in 2014, serving as director of operations for the UM Charles Regional Medical Group – the network of outpatient health care practices located across Charles County. In her new roll, she will continue to oversee the medical group practices as well as other ambulatory services located at the hospital.

“Evalyne’s ability to navigate complex challenges and foster collaboration among teams has contributed to our organization’s remarkable growth and success,” said Noel Cervino, President and CEO of UM Charles Regional Medical Center. “We are confident that her expertise and passion will lead our ambulatory services to new heights.”

In her 10 years at UM Charles Regional, Bryant-Ward has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic vision and a commitment to enhancing patient care, operational efficiency and financial performance. She successfully expanded UM Charles Regional’s service lines and improved access to medical care.

I look forward to continue expanding health care services both at our community practices and within the hospital to remove barriers to accessing care,” Bryant-Ward said. “I remain committed to adding new service lines to improve access for more of our residents with quality, comprehensive care, and health care close to home.

Bryant-Ward serves as a councilwoman on the La Plata Town Council and is involved with numerous community organizations including: University of Maryland at Southern Maryland (advisory board member); LifePoint Church (advisory board member); liaison to the Planning Commission for the Town of La Plata; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (recording secretary); co-chair of the Value Plan Workgroup for the Maryland Health Benefits Exchange; and Joint Base Andrews (honorary commander).
