- Highly emotional behavior
- Withdrawn behavior
- Angry outbursts
- Depression
- Nightmares or other sleeping difficulties
- Drastic changes in eating patterns
- Not wanting to be left alone with particular individual(s)
- Recurring urinary problems
- Unusual clinginess
- Spacing out at odd times
- Reverting to more childish behaviors (e.g., thumb-sucking, bedwetting, etc.)
- Sexual language, knowledge, and/or behavior inappropriate for the child's age
