Conditions and diseases that affect the kidney are treated in pediatric nephrology at the University of Maryland’s Children’s Hospital. The Division of Pediatric Nephrology provides outpatient consults and inpatient hospitalization for children from infancy to adolescence who suffer from renal disease or hypertension (high blood pressure).
