Cara Nicole Wilt, CRNP

Cara Wilt, CRNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner in The Spine Institute at UM St. Joseph. She sees and assesses patients with a range of spine conditions, treating both neck and back pain. Her primary focus is non-operative management; however, she also provides pre-operative, intra-operative and post- operative care for our spine patients working closely with our surgeons.

Ms. Wilt is a seasoned nurse practitioner with 10 years of experience, and a concentration in adult gerontology. She enjoys collaborating with The Spine Institute’s multidisciplinary care team of spine specialists, spine surgeons, nurse navigators and pain management specialists to offer her patients a variety of treatment options.

Before joining The Spine Institute, Ms. Wilt worked as an emergency room nurse practitioner and an oncology nurse practitioner. Prior to her NP experience, she had been in nursing since 2006.  Her diverse background allows her to focus on the patient as a whole person.
