About Me
An optometrist, Dr. Goode examines, diagnoses and treats ocular health and refractive disorders. She delivers comprehensive eye care, practices medical optometry, and dispenses soft contact lenses and glasses for her patients. Her special interests include helping low vision patients maximize their vision, neuro-optometry, ocular disease management and routine diabetic eye examinations. She is dedicated to helping patients reach their specific vision and eye health goals. Her top priorities are listening to the patient and providing treatment options backed by evidence-based studies.
Dr. Goode developed an interest in low vision and neuro-optometry while attending Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Her knowledge and interest continued to grow during her residency at the Veterans Health Administration in Fresno, California.
Dr. Goode's passion for healthy eyes extends to serving communities locally and abroad. She frequently participates in free vision screenings. She has also served as the National Optometric Association's student director, helping to acquire scholarships for optometry students. In addition, she took part in a medical mission trip to Uganda, where she served over 250 patients and provided free eye health examinations and glasses.
In her free time, Dr. Goode enjoys exercising, mountain biking, hiking, cooking and gardening on the weekends.
