About Me
Dana Bridges is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. In 1993, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.
After practicing as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Burn Intensive Care Unit, in 1998, she obtained a Master of Science with a focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
During her more than twenty-seven years in nursing, Dana has practiced in a variety of settings including: In-patient units, Retail Clinics, Neurology, Pulmonology, Family Practice and Pre-Operative Clinics.
She has led programs for Tourette's Syndrome at Johns Hopkins University and Adult Cystic Fibrosis at Children's National Medical Center, where she published research and presented nationally. In addition, she has been involved with quality improvement, patient safety and service excellence.
Most recently, Dana practiced as the Clinical Director for a medical cannabis dispensary, where she utilized her diverse traditional medical experience with a new, more natural and holistic approach.
