Daniel Hsing-Chien Shu, MD

As a medical oncologist at University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dr. Shu strives to deliver the highest quality of care to his patients and their families. He specializes in the treatment of cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, including liver, bile duct, colon, pancreas, stomach and esophageal cancers.

Dr. Shu works closely with colleagues in gastrointestinal surgery, interventional radiology, radiation oncology and gastroenterology to determine the best course of treatment for each patient. In addition to caring for patients, he teaches medical students, residents and hematology/oncology fellows. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association of Cancer Research and Society for Immunotherapy in Cancer.

In his free time, Dr. Shu enjoys reading, soccer and camping. He lives in Baltimore City with his wife and four children.
