A University of Maryland School of Medicine graduate, Dr. Ambinder has won several prestigious awards during his career, including the 2022 Top Principal Investigator Award from the Heart Failure Collaboratory and Heart Failure Society of America. He was also the recipient of the 2021 Wenger Award for Excellence in Medical Innovation. Other notable awards he has won include:
