About Me

An obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Seifi is passionate about providing patients with the best treatment options resulting in the least post-surgical pain for a quick recovery and an earlier return to work. She has performed over 1,000 complex robotic procedures for patients with morbid obesity, complex surgical histories and endometriosis.

Dr. Seifi is highly skilled in natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgeries (vNOTES), radiofrequency ablation of fibroids and complex hysteroscopic cases. She also has clinical expertise in:

Abnormal uterine bleeding
Adenomyosis (thickening of the walls of the uterus, occuring when endometrial tissue grows into the outer muscular walls of the uterus, causing painful periods, heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding with clotting and abdominal/pelvic pain)
Chronic pelvic pain
Ovarian cyst
Robotic/laparoscopic hysterectomy (minimally invasive surgical procedure that uses robotic arms to remove a patient's uterus)
Robotic myomectomy (minimally invasive procedure that uses a robot to remove uterine fibroids)

In addition, Dr. Seifi was awarded the best surgical teaching award by Yale OBGYN residents and received a Certificate of Excellence in Laparoscopic Surgeries from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
