About Me
Jack Gladstein, M.D. was named a Top Doctor in the specialties of Adolescent Medicine and Pediatric Hospitalist by Baltimore magazine in 2020 and 2016. He was also named one of Baltimore magazine's 2011 Top Docs for Neurology, Headache and was voted to The Washington Post Magazine's Super Doctors 2011 for Pediatrics. Dr. Gladstein is a recognized expert in pediatric headaches.
He is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and director of the Pediatric Headache Clinic at the University of Maryland Hospital. He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1983, completed his pediatrics residency and chief residency at Einstein, then moved to Baltimore to complete a fellowship in adolescent medicine.
Dr. Gladstein joined the faculty at Maryland in 1989 and has assumed various roles, including associate dean for student affairs, director of inpatient pediatrics, as well as interim division director of Neurology, and General Pediatrics. Dr. Gladstein's area of research is in the clinical care of children and adolescents with headache.
