About Me

Dr. Molitoris is a radiation oncologist. At the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, he strives to provide excellent patient care through a team-based approach. He also strives to help advance the field of radiation oncology through the implementation of newer treatment technologies, such as proton therapy, brachytherapy and hyperthermia therapy, and translational research.

Among Dr. Molitoris’ main clinical and research interests are genitourinary (prostate, bladder, kidney and testicle), gastrointestinal (anus, rectum, stomach, colon, liver and pancreas), central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and hematolymphoid malignancies. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Dr. Molitoris has given many national and international presentations on his work. He has received awards for his presentations from the American Radium Society and International Congress for Hyperthermic Oncology.

In addition, Dr. Molitoris has previously been named a "Top Doctor" in the radiation oncology field by Baltimore magazine.
