About Me
Dr. Scilla specializes in the treatment of cancers occurring in the chest area, including lung cancer, malignant pleural mesothelioma and thymic cancers. A medical oncologist at University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, she strives to deliver personalized, high quality, compassionate care to her patients and their families.
Dr. Scilla works closely with her colleagues in thoracic surgery, radiation oncology and pulmonology in her multidisciplinary approach to determining the best course of treatment for each patient. In addition to caring for patients, she serves as an investigator for several clinical trials and teaches medical students, residents and hematology/oncology fellows. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
