Kelsey Schwartz Chmielewski, DO

Experienced in the areas of sports medicine and family medicine, Dr. Chmielewski focuses on chronic disease and musculoskeletal injury management. She prioritizes patient-centered care through collaborative care planning, tailoring treatment plans to meet the individual needs of each patient.

In addition to musculoskeletal injury management, Dr. Chmielewski's clinical interests include disease prevention and understanding the impacts of injury on mental health. A Maryland native, she attended Towson University before attending medical school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following medical school, she moved back to Maryland to do her residency.

During her residency, Dr. Chmielewski presented research and clinical cases at local and national conferences. She also received multiple awards recognizing her humanism and dedication to teaching as a resident. During her fellowship, she expanded her expertise in sports medicine. She has had the privilege of being mentored by exceptional sports medicine physicians who imparted invaluable knowledge and experience.

In her leisure time, Dr. Chmielewski enjoys spending time outside with her husband and daughter, taking leisurely walks with her dogs, and watching sports.
