About Me
Dr. Vesely is an interventional cardiologist. His main focus is to treat patients with coronary artery disease.
Dr. Vesely often takes care of patients who might be having a heart attack or are dealing with chest pain. "One of the main focuses of my work I think is important is to make sure my patients understand exactly what's going on with their heart and what we're going to do to help them feel better," he says.
Dr. Vesely's clinical interests include structural and coronary heart disease, with a particular focus on mitral valve disease. He has previously been named a "Top Doctor" in the Cardiology-Interventional specialty by Baltimore magazine.
Dr. Vesely is currently an assistant professor of medicine at University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM). He also serves as program director of UMSOM's Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program and director of the Baltimore VA Medical Center Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
