Michael Graham Livesey, MD

Michael Livesey was raised outside of Philadelphia, PA. He attended the University of Richmond where he graduated with high honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He went on to attend Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and graduated from medical school with the highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. His medical training continued at the University of Maryland where he completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery. During his residency he received accolades for academic performance and clinical research. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was the recipient of the Joseph P. Iannotti award for excellence in shoulder surgery. He is excited now to return as a faculty physician at the University of Maryland. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife Alice and their son James (and look forward to welcoming the newest member to the family this fall!).
