About Me

Dr. Ibrahim is a transplant nephrologist (kidney transplant doctor). He manages patients with kidney disease and determines if they can get a kidney transplant.

Dr. Ibrahim's approach to care is based on open and honest communications with his patients. "It is very important that my patients feel that they can communicate every concern they have to me. I want my patients to feel comfortable when they come visit the office because that level of comfort will translate into a positive impact on their health and decision-making," he says.

Witnessing his patients' joy after they receive a kidney transplant and stop dialysis is a priceless feeling for Dr. Ibrahim. He says he pursued a career in transplant nephrology "because it is one of the very few specialties in medicine where I can have a positive impact on every patient at so many levels."

"Transplant nephrology is truly a life-changing field for the patients and for myself," he says.

In his spare time, Dr. Ibrahim hosts a podcast, the Kidney Zone Podcast with Dr. Mo, that educates people about kidney disease at all stages.
