About Me

As part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, Dr. Morris treats patients with severe neurological injuries such as ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, meningitis/encephalitis, myelitis, status epilepticus, myasthenic crisis and Guillain-Barre syndrome.

The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology granted Dr. Morris the 2018 Faculty Innovation in Education Award and the Neurocritical Care Society awarded him the 2021 Mentor of Year Award.

Dr. Morris' research interests include pain after subarachnoid hemorrhage, disparities in neurological emergency care and educational assessment in neurological emergencies. He holds a strong interest in using simulation to help teach and assess competency in emergency neurology. He has received comprehensive and advanced training in health care simulation from the Center for Medical Simulation in Boston, Massachusetts.
