Prashanth S. Rao, MD

Dr. Prashanth Rao grew up in Potomac, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC.

He earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. He then furthered his training with a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Lankenau Medical Center in the Philadelphia area, focusing on echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular imaging.

Dr. Prashanth Rao is currently board-certified in internal medicine. In his spare time he enjoys reading, hiking, politics, and spending time with family and friends.
