About Me
A thoracic oncologist, Dr. Rosner specializes in the treatment of cancers in the chest area, including lung cancer. He is also assistant professor of medicine at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dr. Rosner strives to deliver expert, compassionate, personalized patient care. To provide this high quality of care, he works closely with providers in pulmonology, thoracic surgery and radiation oncology, emphasizing the importance of team-based care.
Dr. Rosner is a clinical investigator for thoracic cancer treatment, focusing on novel approaches to harnessing the immune system to recognize and target cancer cells. His specific research interests include the management of early-stage lung cancer and use of immunotherapy to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Rosner received his undergraduate degree in biology from Stony Brook University (Stony Brook, New York) in 2013. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2017. He pursued his post-graduate training at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, completing his internal medicine residency in 2020. Following his residency, he completed subspecialty fellowship training in medical oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2023, during which time he served as chief oncology fellow.
Dr. Rosner is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer. For his research efforts in lung cancer, he earned the 2022 Conquer Cancer ASCO Young Investigator and 2023 ASCO Merit awards.
In his personal time, Dr. Rosner enjoys spending time with his family, hiking with his dog, watching sports and traveling.
