About Me
Dr. Feinstein has been seeing patients of all ages at the University Family Medicine practice for 15 years. She has a clinical interest in women's health and caring for patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension.
She also focuses on patient-centered care and communication, value-based care (improving the quality of care provided to patients), and identifying and reducing the negative impact of social determinants of health, such as access to food and transportation.
Dr. Feinstein believes strongly that working with a team can help improve the care provided to patients. She works closely with a full team at University Family Medicine, including a diabetes educator, pharmacists, social workers, nurses, care managers and medical assistants.
Dr. Feinstein is an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. She teaches and mentors medical students and resident physicians training to be family medicine doctors. She received the Family Medicine Teacher of the Year award given by medical students in 2017 and 2019. She was also recognized as a Super Doctors Rising Star in 2013.
