About Me
Dr. Stewart has a background in biomedical engineering and earned her medical degree through the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed a residency in general surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and then completed a cardiothoracic residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
Upon completing her cardiothoracic training, Dr. Stewart pursued additional training in minimally invasive thoracic surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Stewart was named a “Top Doctor” in the specialty of thoracic surgery (sometimes called cardiothoracic surgery) by Baltimore magazine from 2016 through 2021.
