About Me
Dr. Patanaphan has practiced as a radiation oncologist in Harford County for many years and joined the Kaufman Cancer Center as part of the University of Maryland Department of Medicine in 2016. She continues to serve the patients in the region by providing quality patient care and access to clinical trials.
Experienced in intensity-modulated radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy and stereotactic body radiation therapy, she is also an expert in gynecological and skin cancer brachytherapy. Her clinical and research efforts have yielded 19 publications as well as 12 national and international presentations.
Dr. Patanaphan received her medical degree from Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. She completed her internship at Perth Amboy General Hospital in New Jersey and her radiation oncology residency training at the University of Maryland Medical School. She also practiced at Sinai Hospital, the Oncology Center at Riverside and 21st Century Oncology in Bel Air.
