Kim M. Reck, CRNP

Kim Reck is an adult primary care nurse practitioner, caring for patients with general cardiology needs. She has been a member of the care team at University of Maryland Medical Center since 1978, working as a nurse before becoming a nurse practitioner in 1989. She has been working in cardiovascular medicine since 1992.

Reck prides herself on taking the time to understand who her patients are before designing an approach to care. She listens to them and thoroughly explains to them the nature of their condition and the treatment plan. She believes that building strong relationships with patients is an important part of providing the best possible care.

In her free time, Reck likes exercising—namely running and swimming—and experimenting with healthy cooking.
