Lauren H. Gee, CRNP

Lauren Gee is a family nurse practitioner, lactation consultant and otorhinolaryngology nurse practitioner. She has been a specialist in the pediatrics field since starting her career as a pediatric nurse at University of Maryland Medical Center in 2010. She enjoys working with children because they are fun-loving, energetic and resilient.

Gee works closely with pediatric otolaryngology surgeons and can provide consultations for a variety of ENT (ear, nose and throat) surgeries, including ear tube placement, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. She takes a comprehensive, family-centered approach to providing care for oral ties (a condition that can cause problems with speech, feeding or oral hygiene). She offers in-office frenotomies for newborns with feeding difficulties as well as lactation support for parents. In addition to oral ties, her areas of interest include nosebleed management, ear infections and sleep apnea. Besides frenotomy, she has experience with procedures including cauterization for nosebleeds and ear cleaning.

Gee is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners; the Society of Ear, Nose and Throat Advancements in Children; and the Society of Head and Neck Nursing. She lives in Severna Park, Maryland, with her husband and three children.
