About Me
A family nurse practitioner, Lauren Gee has specialized in the field of pediatrics since 2010, when she started her career as a pediatric nurse at University of Maryland Medical Center. Her areas of interest include oral ties, nosebleed management, ear infections and sleep apnea.
Gee is also a lactation consultant and otorhinolaryngology nurse practitioner. She takes a comprehensive, family-centered approach to care in the field of oral ties. She offers in-office frenotomies for newborns with feeding difficulties as well as lactation support for parents. She also works closely with pediatric otolaryngology surgeons and can provide consultations for a variety of ENT (ear, nose and throat) surgeries.
Gee is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners; The Society of Ear, Nose and Throat Advancement in Children; and the Society of Head and Neck Nursing. She lives in Severna Park, Maryland, with her husband and three children.
