About Me
Lauren Raymond is a clinical social worker and practicing psychotherapist. She works with children and caregivers to assist families in healing from the trauma of abuse and neglect.
Raymond is trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and child-centered play therapy. She meets patients where they are and provides evidence-based, compassionate care to address individual needs. She specializes in working with traumatized children and families with a particular focus on attachment and the perinatal period. In order to integrate the mind and body in the healing process, she incorporates her training as a trauma-informed yoga teacher and mindfulness-based techniques.
Throughout her career, Raymond has had the privilege of providing psychotherapy services in various settings, including Baltimore City schools, the Sheppard Pratt residential program for teenagers, Johns Hopkins’ community psychiatry adult outpatient mental health program, and a private group practice.
