An experienced nurse practitioner, Lisa Bronaugh primarily focuses on treating patients with diabetes. Specifically, she helps them manage their disease through diet, education, medication and support.
“Diabetes is a very prevalent disease that’s getting worse exponentially every year. So many patients have it. It can be very overwhelming for them,” she says. “A lot of patients will just stop taking their medications and stop checking their blood sugars because it’s just too much for them. I’m there to help them get back on track and take some of the pressure off them. If I can help them to at least not have any of the complications from the disease process, that’s my goal.”
