Mayra Griggs, CNM

Mayra Griggs enjoys providing evidence-based care to women and infants. She has particular interest in helping women who are seeking a natural childbirth. She considers it a joy and privilege to care for families during the birth process.

Griggs has been a nurse midwife for more than 20 years. She has worked in a variety of care settings, including community hospitals, large teaching hospitals and out-of-hospital birth settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and her master's degree in midwifery from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

When she is not caring for patients, Griggs enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and three children.
