Megan Michelle Bongardt, PA-C

Megan Bongardt is a physician assistant in the field of general surgery at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC).

As a surgical first assistant, she plays a key role on the UM BWMC surgical team. She has a proven ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs of the patient and the surgical team for successful, safe procedures. She works closely with the surgeon during procedures, helping them with important tasks and techniques during the entire surgical procedure, such as exposure, hemostasis, wound closure and any other intraoperative tasks that aid in an optimal result for the patient.

Bongardt is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She received her Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.
