Merlyn Beushen Fanga, CRNP

In her role as a nurse practitioner, Merlyn Fanga helps manage various vascular conditions, including carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease and venous disease. She joined the team at the Vascular Center at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in 2022. She is a University of Maryland School of Nursing graduate.

Listening carefully and attentively so as to encourage patients to share their perspectives is a big focus of Fanga's approach to care. “I want to make sure all patients are heard and their concerns are taken seriously," she says.

In her spare time, Fanga likes to learn about new cultures and languages. She also loves sports, especially soccer.
