About Me

Dr. Berger is a surgical podiatrist. Among the conditions he specializes in are wound care, limb salvage, ligament reconstruction, Achilles tendon rupture and sports injuries. He has lectured locally and nationally on the importance of limb preservation.

What Dr. Berger enjoys most about being a surgical podiatrist is having the ability to allow patients to leave an appointment with a lot of education and immediate relief from their condition. He takes a team approach to care.

"Patients who come to me for care can expect kind of everything in one stop. I go over everything from conservative to surgical management," he says. "I keep the patient in the driver's seat on everything. I get some recommendations and inform the patient as much as I can, and then I let the patient decide."

When he isn't helping patients, Dr. Berger serves as a volunteer firefighter. He enjoys looking after his three dogs, two Labrador retrievers and a Bernese Mountain Dog.
