Michell Marie Jordan, CRNP

For as long as she can remember, Michell Jordan wanted to be a nurse. Her mother is a nurse, and she grew up begging to look in the windows of the nursery at the hospital where her mother worked. Michell volunteered in that same nursery as a high school student.

She began working as a nurse in labor and delivery in 1998 and became a nurse-midwife in 2006 to foster that dream.

Throughout her career, she's had the opportunity to work in many settings, including home hospice, rural health care for maternity care and a high-risk, federally qualified health center. In 2015, Michell completed her DNP at The George Washington University and became certified as a family nurse Practitioner. This expanded her spectrum of care and helped to provide continuity for all her patients.

She firmly believes that every human should have access to safe, quality, compassionate care in all aspects of their health management.
