Shawn Daniel Giacobbe, PA-C

Shawn Giacobbe is a general surgery and bariatric surgery physician assistant. He specializes in treating bariatric patients seeking surgical options for conditions such as appendicitis, gallbladder disease and hernias.

In addition to being a first assist in the operating room, Giacobbe sees patients in the clinic and performs postoperative and follow-up evaluations. He takes the time to thoroughly explain to patients their conditions and all possible options before deciding on specific treatment plans that are most appropriate for them.

Giacobbe was a captain in the United States Army and is a combat veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a physician assistant, he has worked in several specialties, including orthopedics, pain management and primary care.

In his free time, Giacobbe enjoy being in the outdoors. He particularly enjoys camping, fishing and hiking.
