Teresa M. Dyer, CRNP

As a nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine, Teresa Dyer sees patients of all ages—from newborn to elderly—for annual health and wellness visits, acute visits, sports physicals and pre-op exams. She has particular interest in disease prevention and patient education. She works closely with University of Maryland Medical System specialists, referring patients to them as needed to optimize their health.

Dyer also performs skin procedures (including skin biopsies, laceration repair and skin lesion removal), annual women's health gynecological exams, annual depression screenings and age-appropriate cancer screenings. In addition, she serves as a brain health coach. She has previously worked in trauma and ER medicine. She has experience in vascular surgery and skin care. She has participated in surgical missions in Haiti and has an interest in global health care. 

Dyer received her Master of Science degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore's Family Nurse Practitioner Program.
