Volunteer at UMMS
At the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), our member hospitals always strive to work in partnership with their communities. They deliver the high-quality health care their communities need, while at the same time look to community members for support in fulfilling their mission.
Volunteers play an important role at every one of our hospitals. They bring comfort and aid to patients and families and give our team members hands-on assistance through a wide range of roles. Also, volunteers gain valuable experience and develop insight into the healing process.
Each of our member organizations has its own program where they work to match volunteers with opportunities that fit their skills, interests and schedules.
