Clinical Trials Target Radiation Therapy for Advanced Prostate Cancer

To help improve outcomes in patients with advanced prostate cancer that has spread to distant sites in the body, faculty physicians at University of Maryland School of Medicine and the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center launched a new clinical trial to study the effectiveness of a targeted form of highly-focused radiation therapy.
