MCCN Dashboard

Purpose

The Critical Care Dashboard is designed to provide accurate and up to date data and information related to ICU demographics, quality and cost enabling ICU MD/RN Unit Directors and staff to utilize a data-driven, process-focused and outcome-oriented approach to performance improvement.

Expected Outcomes

Each ICU MD/RN Unit Director is expected to review demographic, quality and cost data to define specific areas for focused performance improvement projects resulting in improved outcomes. Illustrative examples would be identifying opportunities to improve infection complications and designing specific workflows to mitigate infection or defining areas of targeted cost interventions to decrease direct variable cost by 5%.
