Nursing Student Programs
University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) offers innovative nursing student opportunities that provide hands-on, expert training for career success and lead to job placement. Our programs mold nursing leaders who play a vital role in improving health care outcomes.
Practicum to Practice (P3)
The P3 program at all UMMS clinical sites offers nursing students an opportunity to select 1:1 senior practicum placement if they interview for and accept their first job as a clinical nurse on the practicum unit, prior to the start of their practicum. Learn about P3.
RN STAT Program (UM CRMC)
Recruiting Nurses Through Alliances and Teamwork, or RN STAT Program, is a scholarship and mentoring program that UM Charles Regional Medical Center (UM CRMC) provides to candidates interested in a nursing career. Applicants must first be accepted into the College of Southern Maryland. Learn more about the RN Stat Program.
Student Nurse Program (UM SJMC)
UM St. Joseph Medical Center offers nursing students who have completed their Fundamentals of Nursing course the opportunity to apply for a Student Nurse position.
