University of Maryland Digestive Health Center evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients with GI disorders.
Our practice focuses on diseases of the esophagus (food pipe), stomach, intestines, pancreas, liver, bile ducts and gallbladder. These organs regulate food digestion, metabolism and other key functions.
Located on the 9th floor of the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus Outpatient Tower, our team of experts will work with you to improve digestive function, prevent cancer of the esophagus, stomach, intestines and liver and treat a variety of digestive disorders. We are assisted by skilled social workers, community health workers and nutritionists.
We see adults with a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. All patients have direct access to University of Maryland School of Medicine specialists for GI symptoms and treatment.
The Midtown Campus Outpatient Tower provides wrap-around services to treat GI diseases in one convenient location.
The Community Health Education Center (CHEC), also located in the Outpatient Tower, offers free health and wellness resources, testing and screenings and can make referrals to diabetes, heart, lung, kidney, eye, sleep, digestive health and infectious disease specialists.
