JACQUES Initiative

The JACQUES Initiative, a program of the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, is an outreach program that changes lives, engages communities, and supports health systems affected by HIV and hepatitis C.

The initiative provides treatment support, HIV and hepatitis C testing, peer counseling and support groups for people living with HIV. It also partners with the THRIVE program, where patients can receive comprehensive medical care.
