We are located on the seventh floor of the Midtown Outpatient Tower at UMMC Midtown Campus. We have two 24-hour, paid parking facilities.

• Madison Garage: connected to the tower
• Eutaw Garage: located at the north end of the hospital

• Bus - Several bus lines (11, 19, 27, 91) serve the hospital.

Eye Care Services

UM Eye Associates Friedenwald Eye Institute, located at the UMMC Midtown campus in Baltimore, provides comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of general and subspecialty eye disorders.

We perform routine eye exams for glasses and eye health, as well as manage and treat vision loss from conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. We treat patients of all ages, from infants to adults.

Our doctors include fellowship-trained ophthalmologists in their respective fields and will guide you to the best treatment options for you.

Our state-of-the-art operating suites enhance our physicians' ability to perform the most sophisticated eye surgery. We offer the latest treatment options including minimally invasive procedures, laser surgery, injections and glaucoma treatment.

Diabetic Eye Disease

Along with the Friedenwald Eye Institute, UMMC Midtown campus also houses the UM Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology.
