Baltimore Magazine Honors 13 UMMS Nurses in “Excellence in Nursing” Issue

Baltimore magazine is honoring 13 nurses from across the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) hospitals and 12 nurses from the University of Maryland School of Nursing (UM SON) in its fifth annual "Excellence in Nursing" issue. Four UMMS winners currently attend or graduated from UM SON.

Baltimore editors asked readers to submit nominations and recruited an expert panel of nurse leaders from the region to select honorees. The magazine, which is the May 2019 issue, recognizes 75 top nurses across 18 specialties.
