University of Maryland Medical System Nurses Recognized as “Excellence in Nursing” Winners by Baltimore Magazine
Twenty-two nurses from University of Maryland Medical System-affiliated hospitals and member organizations have been named as "Excellence in Nursing" winners by Baltimore magazine.
"Our nurses continue to show a commitment to quality care, making a difference for every patient across our System every day," said Mohan Suntha, MD, MBA, President and Chief Executive Officer of UMMS.
The nurses represent the University of Maryland Medical Center, the System's flagship academic hospital, including both the Midtown ;and Downtown campuses of UMMC, the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, and the Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. Also represented are the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (Glen Burnie), the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center (Towson), University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, comprising both the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center (Bel Air) and the University of Maryland Harford Memorial Hospital (Havre de Grace), as well as the UM Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute (Baltimore City).
