University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, in partnership with Chesapeake College, will continue offering free COVID-19 testing but the testing day will move from Mondays to Wednesdays, ending on June 23. Testing takes place at the Eastern Shore Higher Education Center building, located at 1000 College Circle in Wye Mills.

The University of Maryland Medical System is donating more than 200 pallets of lifesaving COVID-19 equipment and supplies valued at more than $4.6 million to countries in Southeast Asia, including India and Sri Lanka, where the current pandemic conditions are much worse than in the United States.

The UM Chester River Health Foundation has been awarded a $32,000 allocation of Maryland state tax credits in support of its campaign to raise $150,000 to fund a second chemistry analyzer for the lab at UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown.
