Detour for Portion of Maryland Route 662
On October 7, 2024, part of Maryland Route 662 will close temporarily during the construction of the new University of Maryland Shore Regional Medical Center and vehicles will be rerouted.
New Traffic Pattern
- Closure: Route 662 (Longwoods Road) in Easton, from Airport Road on the south end to Hiners Lane on the north end
- Detour: State Route 50 (Ocean Gateway)
This section of Route 662 is expected to reopen May 2025.
